hi, my name is jeeyeon. i have been on & off the hcrv for a couple months and when i'm on it, even for just a couple days, i feel really good. but lately i've gone back to old habits of using food for emotional comfort and that's when i eat lots of high-fat, high-fake, highly processed foods. i don't think i can do this on my own, after all. so i'm hoping that by joining this forum, maybe the community's support, knowledge, and friendship will help me get & stay healthy.

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?

one, i find it quite challenging to eat more than 4 or 5 pieces of fruit at once. when i'm at home, this is ok, because i can snack, make a smoothie or salad whenever i want. but when i'm at work, i get extremely hungry after an hour or two, and then am a bit headachy and just cranky-baby. so when i get off work, i zoom straight to a drive-thru near my home and eat a lot of stuff i don't need. this happens even when i eat fruit on my drive home. somehow, i'm just dying to feel full & when i'm that hungry, i feel resentful towards bananas. the other thing that worries me is i find it very expensive to eat hcrv every day. it's like $20 a day if i actually were to eat the required calories from fruit and salad. i think that is totally worth it, too, for all the benefits, but i just don't make a lot of money right now, and this stresses me out.
