I bought organic potatoes at a certain store and i saw on the back they proudly claim that most of their manure comes from organic dairy farms.

What is your opinion on this? would you avoid it and buy at another store where that isn't mentioned, even though in practice we all know that's the case..

Also adding to the demand for manure isn't keeping dairy farms in business..

I don't see a reason to avoid buying these potatoes with the exception if there are potatoes being sold that proudly claim they don't pay animal enslavers for the manure (meaning it's either plant-based or not payed for), but those potatoes only exist in my garden i guess.

I just don't like it that it says so proudly that a big part of the manure comes from organic dairy farms.

  • Hmmm...never seen that before. A dilemma for sure! I buy most of my fruit and potatoes locally...you got me thinking now! Gotta grow more of my own stuff!
