Cows are such gorgeous animals. They look just like big beautiful dogs. I go riding my bike in the countryside for hours, and they come over to the fence to say hello to me. They are such peaceful and loving animals towards people. 

In a society where killing and eating animals was not already an established social norm, eating cows would be just as bizarre as killing and eating golden retrievers. Unfortunately "meat" is the most profitable food to sell to people, since its the one food we can't grow on our own in our backyard. And once you feed people animal flesh consistently they grow a taste for it, and become addicted to eating flesh. 

When I see these lovely creatures out on long cycling rides, it is so sad to me that people look at them as food, rather than appreciating them for how awesome and special they are.
