How do you guys space your meals?

I'm asking this because I find myself hungry again 2,5~3 hours after a 1.2kg banana smoothie

I'm eating 3 banana smoothies a day (1kg to 1.2kg range) + 1L orange juice.

At 18h I already ate these 4 meals, and around 21h I cook some rice/potato/pasta because I'm hungry again

  • I eat about 30 mins after waking (after drinking a liter of water).  Around 1000 cals Medjool dates for breakfast.  After that I usually don't go 3 hours without eating.  I will snack on bananas, apples, or citrus at work.  I will come home and usually eat a small cooked meal (potatoes or rice with veggies) and then later eat another cooked meal.

    My simple answer would be this:  Eat until you are full. When you get hungry, eat more.  Don't forget about water intake.  Keep it high to flush your system.

  • as mentiond before. eat ur food, stop blending it. we r not meant to blend our foods It also oxidises the whole thing which is not good either.  

    fruits are digested super quick too. Of course u r hungry again sooner as if u d eat starches all the time. 

  • I wish i had an answer on this one.. I went through a phase just like that it was like no matter how much i ate i was starving half to death all the time. Its finally passed thankfully. maybe its a detox thing I dunno. At the time i grazed and pretty much just kept a constant flow of food going no sense in fighting it.

    • YES! What is this? I have the same issue, but still want to eat all the time. Hunger that cannot be satisfied.

      • best i can figure is it has somehting to do with how these foods sit in my gut? I dunno no one else seems to complain about this. I"m doing ok now and have been for a while but it was bad for a while it was like starvation even tho you where stuffing your face silly. i was eating 4,5,6000 calories a day easily and would have the toughest time being satisfied. I had to take food with me everywhere and if i got hungry while out and ran out of food it was like panic.

        I dont get it thankfully i'm ok now. maybe my body was just on a feeding frenzy for good nutrients heck do i know.

        • How long did it last? Are you fully raw?

          I eat soooo much and am still hungry. I have lost about 15kg and could still lose more, though I don't appear overweight as I am so tall.

  • For some reason smoothies don't keep me super full a lot of times. I find eating and chewing seem to help. 

  • I am brand new (on day 23 or 24) of RT4 and I have always been a small meal person.  I have gotten better, but I eat when I'm hungry.  I think with smaller fruit meals and such, they leave the stomach very shortly after you eat it, so if you're eating another meal later then its not going to interfere.  It works for me, but I don't think everyone wants to be eating all day.  I will graze throughout the day, often eating within an hour or so.  In fact today I had blueberries for breakfast around 8.  Then I had a couple of mangoes, probably around ten, and am eating bananas for lunch.  I'm not even making a smoothie, just eating them as I please.  I have yet to see the drawbacks of this type of eating, but someone may have to enlighten me...?
