    i too will order from bautista ASAP!  i don't mean to sound argumentative, i am a HUUUUGE date fan.   there happens to be a hookup at a grocer in my 'hood for sudden cravings.  BUT -- IT IS SUMMER -- you could take a challenge to go a few more weeks without any.  melon mono meals?  unless you do a lot of hiking // biking // i don't mean to be presumptuous.  it's a challenge for me too.  if you are really jonesin', message me and i'll mail you a pound from my local grocer.  also whole foods often has them -- a bit more dried than mail order but not too shabby.    xoxo one love!  JGL

      Hehaa, well I guess you could say I'm "jonesin" a little bit, but with so much other delicious summer fruit around I probably could go without a couple weeks, but I have some parties coming up to which I plan on bringing some of my favorite dishes (tryin' to get my cooked friends hooked on raw :D  ). Plus I have one friend in particular who likes to snack on chocolates, but if she has dates she'll eat those instead! Anyway, I'm gonna check into Culi and ednshell's recommendations, if those don't pan out I might take you up on that.

      My It's a Date salad and Vanilla Ice pie are in high demand! I'll post recipes and pictures next time I make them :P
