is there such thing as overeating ?

I feel my attitude toward food is not that great , i embraced the unlimited calories but it made me eating when i am not necessary hungry, lying in m'y bed on the internet, not making proper meal. I dont want to feel restricted so each time i want eat: i eat! I dont ask myself if i am hungry or not or what m'y body feel like to eat...In fact I don't want spend time preparing food, it really bother me so I just grabe stuff (fruits) whithout thinking about it. When I am at home (I live alone):m'y digestion sucks because of my attitude when I am working or traveling...no problem. Obvously i feel sometimes i am eating too  much and "bad" not because of what i eat or the quantities but how i eat which is whithout any respect for myself or the food i eat.

I noticed Freelee was always eating mostly the same amount of calories except some special occasion so i guessed that is why she is slim ? If she was eating 5000kcal every day she would get fat ? I guessed that is why i gained some weight?

I don't know what i am asking you guys but i know your insight are always helpful, and just writting about my attitude to other people could be a first step to change it....

Ps: i spend a lot of time alone at home because of my work schedule which make me work at night on Weekends

  • Thank you that is what i was thinking too to focus outward not inward!! I was thinking of joining an organisation to give some help but not easy because of my irregular schedule as i said i can potentially work any day or night of the year , i know it the month before and a lot of organisation have to deal with a planning to organise and they want someone to come the same day every month or week, perhaps i could do someting on the Internet.

    I will see , first step focusing outward;)!

    And thanks Mistyraw your reply help me noticed that snacking all the time was probably also a source of iimbalance

      Some organizations like Sea Shepherd I think, might take you on their journeys as your schedule meets theirs, like matching up your vacation days and you do not have to go out every time.

  • She gets hungry because shes active thus eat when hungry and eat more.
  • Start with the minimum:

    Why 2500/3000 Calories A Day?

    Then build from there.  If you lose to much weight add more.  Feel too tired, add more.  Etc.  This is often the goldilocks zone for sedentary people.  If you are not biking like Durianrider, then you probably do not need to eat like Durianrider.  

    Schedule meals to make sure getting enough calories, then go on and do other things like a join a save the planet organization.  Focus outwards.  Not inwards.  

    • Daily Recipe for Long Term Success
    • Minimum Calories: Females: 2500 Males: 3000
    • Whole, raw, ripe plant foods. (ie RT4: Steam potatoes: not a bag of chips.)  
    •  ½-2 heads of lettuce greens.
    • Get a palm of raw nuts or seeds.
    • Low fat: not no fat! (5-10% of calories average)
    • Simple meals. Rotate foods for maximum nutrient exposure.
    • Drink enough water. Urinate (almost) clear.
    • Early nights and sleep 8-12 hours for rest, repairs, and maximum muscle fat burning.  Get some zzz time before midnight.  
    • Exercise and resist gravity 30 minutes. 
    • Sunbathe 30 minutes for vitamin D and healthy bones and teeth.  
    • Lower stress triggers.  Stress releases weight gain hormones.  
    • lOOk Outward beyond the self. Better the planet.  Do not self flagellate.
    • Avoid comparison traps. Be yourself and not your social media guru.
