Hi all,

Has anyone ever tried steamed brussel sprouts and/or cabbage with their dinner salads? I know I need more variety to my salads... my dinner salads consist of (all organic) 1lb romaine lettuce, 1lb spinach, a couple large raw mushrooms, 1/2 cup frozen peas, 1/2cup frozen corn.

Sometimes, I will include cucumbers chopped or red pepper chopped in place of the starches.. I know its best to be 100% raw, but does including lets say...a few steamed brussel sprouts on my salad bad?

has anyone ever tried steamed veggies with their saald/ or replaced that for their salad? any side effects?

Esther

I added some steamed Brussels sprouts, kale and cabbage on my salad. It was good, but I can feel that my stomach is working harder to assimilate and digest the steamed veggies. I don't know if I'll keep eating steamed veggies if I'm always going to feel bloated afterwards. I'm glad I experimented cause now I know!
