Low Energy on Rawtill4/HCLF

Hey so I have been eating pretty much Rawtill4 (sometimes have fully raw days and (not very often) occasionally eating big salads or miso soup (yes sodium bleh) at lunch for the about last past month. I feel really low energy still though, even though I'm eating so much fruit during the day and sometimes the evening. Am I doing something wrong? Is it because of too much sodium? (I don't know if that factors or not heheh) Should I just stick with it and wait until my energy levels are up?

PICTURE OF CHAI NANA-ICE CREAM!!

5-7 frozen bananas+ piece of vanilla bean pod+ chai spice (cardamon, cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, star anise)??

  • I found on my journey so far that fat seems to play a big factor, I wasn't getting enough!! especially when I first started, as soon as I added a little fat into my daily eating my energy shot up, try some avocado a few nuts and seeds I now make a salad dressing with 1/2 avocado soaked pumpkin and sunflower seeds 1tblsp of each 3 walnuts juice of 1/2 lemon 2 brazil nuts blend until smooth- mix in with your salad boom!!

    • thanks I will try this!! (:

  • Have you had any " up times " ? - even for a short period - during this month - maybe when you got a lot of calories in and sufficient rest ?  In my experience the " up times " start to happen more and more often and for consistently longer durations, the longer one maintains on this PURE lifestyle.

Until then, the body can be " detoxing " or I prefer " healing ".  You might notice this " healing " - in that it is a subtle sort of low energy that is also holistic in that you start to feel a need to take better care of yourself overall and get more sleep.  It is a subtle but noticeably different feeling than just plain " low energy ".  If you can . . . just really give in to this " healing " and see what happens.  Don't mistake the initial " low energy " for " this diet isn't working for me " !

    • Yes I always feel like I can climb mountains when I eat lots of fruit that digests well and get a good amount of sleep. And yes I'm sticking with it!! I love this lifestyle!! Thank you for your comment, I'm just going to wait for this to pass, my body is probably just doing its own thing,  and try to get more sleep, too!

  • If i ate the frozen banana nice cream i would also start to have low energy as it slows the digestion down massively and prevents it a lot as its freezing enzymes and the organs so it cannot be digested correctly. Think about this if frozen food is freezing the body so its slowing it down. Heat the body up and the organs speed up etc. I talk about this more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GMOBAlY9X4

Also how much do you sleep a night and when do you go to bed? Do you use correct food combining ,eat fully ripe fruit and how much tender greens do you consume a day?

And as they mentioned above make sure your eating enough calories! 2500 minimum.

    • I watched your video and it makes a lot of sense! I have been eating lots of banana ice cream recently since I have so many frozen bananas, and my digestion has been much worse than normal.

So sad because its so yummy heheh.

      Thankss!!!

    • yea it also could be because im not getting enough sleep!! (haha silly, i didnt even think of that) :)

  • My guess is that you are not getting enough calories.  Have you tracked your daily intake on www.cronometer.com ?

    • +1
