COME HERE TO FIND SOMEONE ON THE ISLAND AT ANY GIVEN TIME & JOIN THEM!

Ok so I thought it would be a good idea to just have banana blogs here. (it would be awesome and helpful for newbies to see everyone's blogs under one roof, if that makes sense? :-)
We have another thread going here which has lots of island details....Please post your questions there and put a link to your question here so we can get to it and not interrupt the flow of the blogs too much, ofcourse commenting & supporting eachother on the island is encouraged!

Destination:

This island most are going to has only bananas on it, for some it will have 2 fruits (like for myself banana and date) Some will have banana and greens also.  SO there are a few variations and that's why I'm requesting everyone record exactly what they eat because their results will vary depending on this. Please keep your island selection to a maximum of 2 fruits or 1 fruit & greens.

Itinerary:

Arrive Monday 12th April, return 28th April
(although if trip is going very well may extend)
Others may be already on the Island, we can meet them there...

Things to do on the island: (apart from lots of relaxation)

Record a daily blog on your experience here including how many bananas/or dates you have daily, water intake, exercise, sleep, sunshine and feelings...
Then we can really help eachother if some of us are undereating or dehydrated etc.

Ok awesome so fire away my island friends!

P.S- Please can we agree to keep the comments that aren't specifically direct comments of support to other islanders off this thread? Like questions about the island etc? That way we can just have lots of blogs and support, thanks! Other comments and ongoing conversations can be put here..

  • banana island = banana mono diet?

  • One question I never seems to understand the island, as far that the biggest challenge is to go 2500kcal min, right?

I dont meet my daily recommendation of nutrients on mono islands(I do meet it on, dates, apples, bananas and celery, romain and spinach and for my taste buds: cucumber, iceberg, zucchiny)...

If I do mono island, my digestion is great, but my craving become extreme, coz I start to hate that fruit and simply eat less and less, somedays more...

So could your please explain me the benefite of it?

I mean for the weight loss it works perfectly, because I cut my appetite to minimum, llike this, but I though i will gain then, when I eat again 2500kcal. Am I right?

    • Hopefully, someone will reply to your last comment.  I'm just now reading into mono fruit island... and, your question sounds like a great one.

  • I'm so glad you two are sharing your journey, I'm starting in tomorrow.  I've planned my first day and my second day's breakfast and I can't wait to start!
  • It's kind of neat to be doing this at the same time as you, especially because our emotions seem to kind of being through similar ups and downs as the days go on though we're living completely different lives. I totally agree, I've tried to be fully giving into all my emotional states. I can't say I always get why they're happening, but they've gotta come out, hopefully to leave for good for many of them...
  • Your bike ride sounded beautiful :) Glad this seems to be making you find both inner peace and energy!
