Anita Kranjc is being charged with criminal mischief for giving water to dehydrated pigs on their way to slaughter. This is the only act of compassion they ever got to experience in their entire lives, no one should be punished for kindness.

Interesting how vegans keep ending up on the wrong side of the law.
Specifically, actions that are normal or people have been performing for years. "Activists from the group have been giving water to thirsty pigs for more than two years." change.org
I see this as a form of entrapment and discrimination. If everyone does the same action and only one person gets prosecuted that's unfair. Not only is entrapment, hey everyone is doing this action, so it must be legal. Its also discrimination, since how does it make any sense to arrest one and not the other? Please feel free to correct if I am wrong.
This may not be the angle you want, but basically Anita Kranjc is being discriminated against. The police officers should have arrested everyone present at the event under the same law or arrested nobody.
