tap water

I would like to know, what kind of water you usually drink, does anybody still drink tap water?Until now I rarely bought water, first for economical reasons, secondly because the tap water here is said to be not the worst, and also cause I didnt really notice any difference in the taste. But now I cant drink it anymore. It makes me feel sick in my stomache and it smells and tastes like metal. I hadnt noticed that before. I think its a good sign, my taste has become more sensitive I guess. But what if I cant even drink the water from the supermarket anymore? Sometimes I'm afraid of getting too raw. ;-)Similar experiences anyone??

  • Distilled water is #1

In most water supplies you have prescription drugs residue from people to lazy to properly dispose them so they dump in the toilet and down the drain.

So if your into drugs then by all means drink the tap water.

Most filters can not remove this.
  • A great quote (well not word for word, terrible at making exact quotes unless cut and past ;)) from DG was 'if you lived in the city, would you refuse to breath because the air wasn't 100% quality?'

We have to survive when we need to survive. I drink tap water when I need to, but hate it knowing that they have more combined chlorine that a swimming pool is legally allowed to have! And that the ph can be 8.5+ also bothers me!

I am starting to travel to a spring and fill up alot (10+) 5 gallon glass jars for myself and others, so we can drink the purist.
  • I'm in Belgium right now, the water here defnitely tastes worse than in my town in Germany, but it might also be due to the fact that I live in an old building here.
  • I drink filtered tap water. We use a stage 3 Brita filter. You notice a big difference when the filter is ready to be changed. I can't afford bottled water nor do I trust the plastic jugs or the source of the water.
