Woodstock Fruit Festival

Hey fellow fruit munchers :)

You may notice the big banner at the top of the screen ^^ advertising the upcoming Fruit Festival in New York. Note: It's meant to say "Leaders OF the low fat raw vegan movement, I didn't save it so I can't change it right now but, I digress... :D

ANYWAYS...  Durianrider and myself will be speakers at the festival along with plenty of others inspirational raw food leaders such as Doug Graham, Tim Van Orden, Ann osborne and more...

  • I am trying to raise enough money to come!!! I'm going to send out letters to friends and family and ask for their help... I could describe it as being a beneficial addition to my studies and work towards becoming a nutrition counselor, especially with all the speakers and activities, eh?

I will be quitting my current job right before the fest, and having my new ones ready for me to start beginning of Sept! I am so excited for this, I so hope I can pull enough money together! (I'm quitting my current job because it surrounds me super negative people, and I've been there for 4 years come August... time to say "goodbye" to all that negative energy, and "hello" to positive, rewarding work with children with disabilities, where I can hopefully share the value of a low-fat, high-carb raw vegan diet, or at least vegan, with a lot of fruits!!!)

  • Is Lukas Ircha coming?
  • Check your spam box.  Google put their reply to me in spam.  If still no luck, contact Yuliya.
  • Would anyone from the northwest be interested in road tripping to this :)?  Or even make stops along the way to pick up as we progress east..would make for an awesome adventure pre-post festival week!  From my location on the Oregon coast to NY location its right at about 3k miles..so 6k total, which is only about $800 in gas costs round trip.. which is about the cost of a plane ticket.  But if we had 2-4ish people splitting the cost it'd make it worthwhile as well as way adventurous!  We'd already be packed with camping gear & could stop along the way easily.  I've done lots of road trips, but never to the east, so hope there's some people out there interested in considering this :D
  • WISH I could be there for this FABULOUS event!!! FYI...just announced it with a link on Twitter (@AGreenLady over 14,000 followers) :D

  • Greetings! Mechanical. You?

Question: Are kids the same price as adults when camping?
