We all struggle from time to time and we all have our own hurdles - whether that hurdle is quitting salt or fat, whether that hurdle is going 100% raw, or even whether that hurdle is giving up the animal products. We all make mistakes and we usually make more mistakes when we try to do something alone! So this group is for you if you want to have accountability to someone, someone who will personally encourage you and support you as you do the same for them. You can use this group to find others who want to team up and create accountability pairs where you send personal messages to each other and develop supportive friendships!

In this group you can share your particular struggles and mistakes and see that you're not alone in them; you can share your encouragements and post even the smallest of successes you have had. Even the smallest of achievements are worthy of great celebrations so this group is here to cheer you on and pick you up when you fall down :)

  • hey everyone!

I wanted to give a short update and see how is everyone doing?

As I mentioned I struggled with cravings and partially still do, but found a raw alternative for chocolate and have been able to push through must everything else.  I have added hot yoga to my workout schedule and found that has helped with weight loss and acne.  Seems to be the "thing" that was missing.  How is everyone else doing?

  • Awesome e Beth-Ann! Im loving it more everyday. Which is weird I thought i would be tired of it by now

Watermelon Island is when you eat only watermelon. You still need to drink water though to aid in digestion.

BTW Kara, I have done watermelon island for 7 days previously. It was fun. And I ate a lot of watermelon around 2-3 a day.

  • I'm game Kara with the Watermelon Island.  Think i'll eat a half one right now.

BTW, what IS watermelon ISLAND??  not kidding.

When you eat a lot of watermelon, does that replace drinking so much water?

  • I'm starting watermelon island today! Has anyone here tried before? Anyone want to join me?
  • Keep going Bj you can do it. You have the enthusiam and things may be a bit up and down at the moment but eventually it can even out. We are all learning a new habit and that can take getting used to. The spinach pasta sound like you are on the right track. What are you planning on making next?

  • My kids are so used to me yelling "eat fruit!!" when ever they walk in the pantry to get something to eat. I have two boys and they both eat around 4k+ calories a day. To their credit they eat a ton of fruit, that's not the issue. I am the one with the issue, not them!! I have tried for many many years to get rid of the chips and junk and honestly it just makes my life hellish for months on end. The best I can do is allow them the junk IF they eat an equal amount of fruit. I think when they get older, they will change their ways! I have little control. If it wasn't here, I doubt I'd go out and get it. I need to work on myself :( and my diet! I created a shelf just for me, all my foods, and that worked for a minute. I got them to eat some spinach pasta the other day....lol. Being constantly around the triggers I have is just not working out for me.

  • Hi everyone, I just joined because I have been struggling lately as well, I can't keep away from the chips at night either, also I need to figure out a pasta sauce, I buy the jars but use so little I have to throw them away, any ideas ?

  • Hi All,

Would like to tell you about the most amazing salad dressing! avocado mango ginger orange carrot cellery lime. I had it today on a bed of spinach. So good i had to share!

Hope your Raw-day has gone well,
