Dizzy :(

Hello all,

Was curious as to why I have been feeling so dizzy the past few days, last night, and this morning when I stand up my vision becomes blackened and my head light and dizzy...when I sit back down little white lights are springing around my vision until it stops. Wondering if its calories or what?

yesterdays intake :

4 liters of water

about 350 grams of medjool dates and water for dateorade in the a.m.

lunch was 6 organic very ripe bananas

dinner was 6 cups of lettuce with about 4 medium boiled potatoes, no condiments.

This morning i've had a liter of water and about 350 grams of dates in dateorade.

any ideas or feedback much appreciated!!

  • How long have you been doing this?  Sounds like candida die off symptoms.  Also up calories as already suggested.  If you had any candida it should get back to normal fairly soon as long as you stay low fat.

    • Oh wow, I had never even thought of that being an issue, any suggestions on where I could learn more about candida? I am working on upping the cals and for the last week cronometer says I am at 3.6g out of 21.5g for fat on average. Thank you!

    • There's a lot of stuff on internet about it, but I wouldn't study it too much.  The books will advise a lot of harsh meds to kill it and that isn't necessary.  Actually what you're doing already is the best thing.  Candida is a high fat diet issue.  If you're sticking pretty close to 80/10/10 your candida levels will normalize fairly quickly.  It is just that while the excess die off you can get some weird symptoms.  Don't worry, you're on the right track.

    • Thank You!

Active B12 test (most accurate type)

It specifically measures the active b12 in your blood - the standard serum blood test used contains active and inactive b12 - active b12 is the only type your body can utilise and use.
