Is it possible to “detox” old emotions?

I am wondering if it is possible to experience detox-like symptoms in regards to old emotions. Consider someone who is recovered from past emotional hardship, now a happy and emotionally stable fruit eater who is able to effectively negotiate the stresses of their lifestyle: if said person still experiences unexplained periods of anxiety, etc. could this possibly be a pouring out of old emotions that have not yet been dealt with? Just as the lymphatic system flushes toxins through sweat during exercise, could the reptilian memory flush out negative emotions following strenuous mental/physical activity?

I think I saw somewhere that Rozi Graham is delivering a lecture on healing emotions on 80/10/10 at the fruit festival in Denmark. I would love to hear it, but I am unfortunately unable to attend at that time. Are there any YouTube lectures or books out there about this?

Please tell me your thoughts. If you would like more information, please personal message me.

Thanks!

I found this for you inspired by Ganeen Roth - Women, food and God.

It really highlights the brain-body connection.

  • Hi, I tried detoxing emotions with kinesiology, don't know if you can find one there, the lady was using clear source water and giving some prayers... then testing for energy channels etc... really interesting and definitely all natural with source water! it helped during my first preganancy. ;-)

And fasting is known as a good means to emotional cleansig... but I'd start with the help of someone experienced unless you go for just 2-3 days at a time. Educate yourself and read... there's plenty of sources out there.

    hope it helps.

    • It was more an academic interest, so I am looking for studies/books to read/lectures to watch. Thanks for the advice though, it is a place to start!
