We all know how difficult it can be to live in the same house with S.A.D. eaters. Even worse when you have to shop or cook for them. Its hard being debated and misunderstood by loved ones. It can also be tough on a marriage when two people are not on the same page. Anyone else having these same problems? Please share your experiences or how you deal with these issues.

  • New to HCRV also. Have almost 3 months under my belt and still going strong. Yes it's hard sometimes, cooking for others and seeing all the things that used to be so " inviting" to me, to say the least!! One thing that keeps me going? I FEEL good and every day I feel better!! No one and nothing is going to force me back into a lifestyle that makes me sick, literally. So when I watch everyone eating all the yummy "poison", I smile inside and know, that for today, I'm staying healthy, no matter what :)
  • My husband - who at at least 1 lb of meat a day is going 80-10-10!!!! SO EXCITED!!! Story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cqdy1KWO6c. You make a difference...just don't give up. This was the trigger for him, it could be the trigger for your loved ones as well :)

  • What do you say to all the friends, family, and medical professionals pushing you to eat protein? Non of them get this!
  • oops..wasnt done typing. Been raw before when he wasnt and vegetarian most of our 22 yr marriage when he wasnt..and he doesnt want to go bavk to that..but now i undrrstand 811 and where i went wrong before...I do!
  • yep Jamie. One main problem is it seems very important to him that we share the same thing at dinner. not even 2/3 same but all same. j
  • Hi Jamie! It´s getting easier every time, I´m teaching my boyfriend to cook vegan or vegetarian, because I´m not feeling comfortable cooking his meals anymore, I used to do it but It’s very hard especially if you are a good cook, and I agree with you it is very expensive and chaotic, I don´t give him a hard time about the occasional junk food he eats but I don´t like him to eat it in front of me. If being vegan it´s considered crazy in Mexico being raw vegan is just out of this world, it makes me laugh the way people see me, my boyfriend supports this lifestyle but he is a bit skeptic about it I guess he wonders a lot, he thinks I´m an extremist and I know deep inside he thinks sooner or later I will go back to my senses and start eating “normal” , I have been in and out this lifestyle but I have committed for now a month I haven´t told my family because I´m scared about their negative criticism so I have avoided the Sunday family reunions so I don´t have to deal with it, I know I have to face it but I´m waiting until I get positive results so they could see this is the right path. [ I apologize .. my English is not perfect, but I try to do my best]
