  • I started using my rebounder sometimes in my circuit exercises, between each set I would do 75 high knee jumps on it.

  • I have a mini-trampoline that I scored at a yard sale for $5 about 3 years ago.  I use it quite a bit but it is starting to show it's wear.  It would be interesting to hear what others have bought.

Thanks for mentioning Bellicon, I'll have to check that out.

  • Check it out guys, finally got around to making a video!

  • I think it can be whatever you want it to be.  You can certainly work up a good sweat, or do it for fun and relaxation.  For me it's a bit of both.  And either way I always feel REALLY good after rebounding.

  • haha I know that didnt really answer your question Amanda, but I think the rebounder can be really whatever you want to make it. I currently do 30 mins every morning and pretty much do it to help move all the 4 gallons of lymph in my body and feel its a great way to start the day. How long have your sessions been Amanda?

  • Great question Amanda, I was thinking the same thing while doing my 30 min rebound sesh this morning. I am 100% sure everyone could shed a few pounds or get their exercise fix in doing just rebounding. The question is, how long would you want to stay on a mini trampoline? From my experience of doing 3 hours of rebounding in one day, your body just gets rocked from all that G force. By the end of the day, it was probably the most tired I have ever been in my life. And just such a different type of tiredness at that.

  • That's great to hear Amanda, thanks for sharing! Doing 20 mins a day is just about perfect for what your body needs to get all of the 4 gallons of lymph in your body to move around, and not to mention get in an awesome workout. Haha that'd be fun to post some videos of jamming out to music while doing a routine, we''ll have to see what we can do :D

  • Totally agree with you Mary! Its always so fun to listen to upbeat music while bouncing. After so many injuries from running I was instantly hooked on how low impact bouncing is on the body and joints.

  • Rebounding rocks - a great, fun workout, anytime.  Also a low impact way to 'run'.  For me it's always best with music.

What is your favorite benefit of rebounding?

1. Rebounding provides an increased G-force (gravitational load), which benefits the body by strengthening the musculoskeletal systems.2. Rebounding protects the joints from the chronic fatigue and impact delivered by exercising on hard surfaces.3. Rebounding helps manage body composition and improves muscle-to-fat ratio. Rebound Exercise benefits you by giving you more control over these.4. Rebounding benefits lymphatic circulation by stimulating the millions of one-way valves in the lymphatic…
