I need to find what works best for me. I am new to all of this, but I truly believe raw is best. Living and Learning.

  • Will do, Heather.  Have the Atlanta 30BaDers met up yet, by any chance?  It's been a while since I've been on here, but there doesn't seem to be an event page anymore.
  • How is the diet working for you??
  • sure Heather,
I let them have oatmeal and other hot cereals. They also have cooked brown rice and other grains. Cooked yams, carrots, beets..things along those lines.
That is all I can think of right now. Does this help?
  • It's nice to know I'm not the only new person here :)
  • Hi Heather,

    Thanks for your comment.

My kids do not eat all raw, but they do eat mostly raw. I have them follow 811 as a cooked version. Like some cooked potatoes sometimes or sprouted bread. It's mostly as a transition until I can get them to go all raw. It would have been easier if I would have started them at an earlier age. My daughter is 9 and my boys are 14 and 16. They are coming around though :)
  • Welcome to the community Heather :) Have a great time!
