  • Hey Lauren how you are you liking Houston? Will you be doing a pick up with Rawfully Organic this weekend?

  • I was reading on the forum and came across your comment "Hominidae co-evolved during the Miocene epoch

Hitherto, the earliest fossils recognized as belonging to the Hominidae, from Fort Ternan and the Siwaliks, have been dated to the Mio-Pliocene. Discoveries in early Miocene deposits at Songhor and Rusinga, Kenya, have made it possible to carry the date of the separation of the true Hominidae from the Pongidae back to the Lower—or possibly Early Middle—Miocene. Nature 213, 155 - 163 (14 January 1967); doi:10.1038/213155a0

Proc Nutr Soc. 2003 Feb;62(1):31-6.Colonic diverticula.Diverticula are a herniation through the wall of the sigmoid colon and are likely to be a consequence of a weakness in the colonic wall or prolonged exposure to increased intracolonic pressure consequent on a low dietary fibre intake. Adult Africans living in Africa eat a high-fibre diet and are free from diverticulosis. Their colons are stronger, wider and thinner than those Scottish adults of the same age.

The Paleolithic era was a window of the past that didn’t change that." I was wondering if you had citations for this.

The onus is on those who claim humans evolved to digest meat differently than the other members of the biological family. I can't prove a negative assertion. I have more citations regarding digestion and disorders among related species consuming meat but not sure what you are looking for exactly. Please feel free to ask specifics.
