  • Hey Maria, With me everything is great. Stillvery raw :)

    How is the baby?

I hope everything is allright with you.

    Greetings

    X

  • HI, I don't think it should be a problem for a 18 month baby. The weather at that time of the year is nice and dry, so camping in tents is easy at that time of the year. And the river is just next to the festival, so we can go for a quick refresh anytime.

We will have our son, who is just two month older than yours, and our 3 years old son too (will be four by then), and there are a few other people planning to come with kids too. It should be fun.

    Cheers

  • Hi,

I wanted to let you know we will have a raw fruit festival in Spain next September

    Maybe you'd like it.

    Cheers

  • yes! I'm in NY now and I really miss the fruit in Belgium. It's mostly terrible here. So I'm living on bananas, dates and oranges. I would get a great variety at the markets and some supplementing from Delhaize. Wish I was there for the cherimoyas! enjoy!

Did you just get to brussels recently? How are you doing managing with the given fruit supply?

  • That's to bad. But it's all right, I can wait :)

I'll hear it when you get your hands on one :)
  • Hi Maria, Lighty told me you were interested in participating in the 80/10/10 translation into French. This is very good news even if you are not available right-away, as there is plenty of work to be done! Please register on my website @ http://michelnature.com/?page_id=95

  • That sounds great. I'm at home a lot right now so it shouldn't be a problem for me to come over.
    I will definitely try pomegranates.
I'll send you my personal info in a mail.
  • That sounds like a brilliant plan. Let's do that :)
I haven't tried pomegranates yet, Do you juice them or do you just eat them?
I often eat medjoul dates. They are not completely fresh but they are still pretty juicy. They are especially great if you need a lot of calories in a handy little package :). I often eat them when I'm working long days that are physically intense.
I recently tried fresh bahri dates. They were quite good.
  • I'd love to share a durian. I'd love to find out what all the fuss is about. Aparently a lot of people really like durian.
I'm also not to crazy about cherimoyas because of all the pits. They are a bit annoying. Cherimoyas also go bad really quick. But I just had to try them again.
I'm also looking forward to persimmons. I know this little store in Zemst where they have small kaki's but they are the best I ever tasted. Super ripe and delicious.
I'm also looking forward to loads of tangerines. :)
  • I guess I'll have to try some one day. I always find it a bit scary to try out a new fruit. Like for instance a durian. I wouldn't know how to start eating one :)
