I became vegetarian at 19 and vegan in my late 30s. Around that time I also started reading about raw diets and began experimenting, usually in the holidays when I had the time. But I was left feeling a bit disappointed with all the raw gourmet recipes which seemed such hard work and mere imitations of cooked food. By chance after a relationship ended recently, I came across 80 10 10 while surfing online and bought the book. I'm now also reading the China Study and am at present doing raw till four. This feels much more natural and wholesome to me and my next step is to find somewhere to buy fruit in bulk.
