  • Hi... lovin' the tomatoes in Neenah as well :D

Unfortunately I had to drop out of school, at least for now. I work 40-50 hrs a week, at a computer (I'm a graphic artist). All the work and studying (also done at a computer) was taking a toll on my health. Hopefully I'll be able to resume school one day, neuroscience is my true passion!

    peace,

      Guava

  • Wow, you're the second Wisconsinite I friended in the last 3 days! That's awesome! No excitement happenin' in Neenah, at the moment, although it is beautiful around here this time of year :) What's up in Mil-town?

    peace,

     Guava

  • Alrighty then!  Feel free to say wazzup next time you're in the Phx :)
  • Where in the AZ were/are you, Steve :)
  • We are about an hour from Mango Tree - you will have to drive N towards Dominical, then W towards San Isidro and then there are more detailed directions to get to our farm.
  • Hi Steve, glad to be friends with you. What are your plans in Costa Rica for Jan? Will you have time to visit us at Farm of Life? www.farmoflifecr.com
  • happy birthday steve :)
  • well, i am currently working in landscaping/gardening to learn more about it and to get to know the business end of things. and i have my website (www.frubundance.ning.com) which i hope can grow more and provide good information. i am also potentially doing a talk with B. form this site, here in ottawa about permaculture. but with all that, i have barely put any garden beds in where i live here!! but i do have some juicy tomatoes growing right now!

that would be a really cool project. i would totally be down with helping out if you do get that going! you could probably even set it up through PRI as an aid project and get funding too! worth looking into anyway.
  • ya, i studied with geoff lawton at PRI australia! he is the one in the vids.

he told us how to make gardens in jordan, basically sunken gardens/raised footpaths (opposite of regular gardens) and using plastic underneath. irrigation and shade house. you like permaculture?

but the food forest part is really cool too!! you gonna try it out? that would be so cool!
  • cool! i've never been to either. do they have good fruit?
