  • Hi,

I wanted to let you know we will have a raw fruit festival in Spain next September

    http://festival.811-friendly.net

    Maybe you'd like it.

    Cheers

  • Great info, thx Stevo :)
I know I liked what I saw on the YT uploaded episode of Fight Quest.
I'm currently studying another art entirely (muay thai), but I'll certainly keep wing chun in mind. I appreciate what seem to be the more sensory and true-self defense aspects; different from the more rock-em, sock-em styles.
  • Hi Stevo, thanks for the add. Well, as you probably know there is no cure for scolioses. I was diagnosed last year and at that time I couldn't stand up for more than 5 minutes at a time and had difficulty walking and doing other things as well. I didn't like the prediction of my future life becase of this. I started looking for alternative treatments and came in contact with a man whos both a chiropractor and an acupuncturist. He has lots of experience treating different kinds of back problems and I would in your case make sure it's someone really qualified, as I'm sure they're not all experts in everything. Anyway I've had acupuncture 3 times and I'm taking some supplements that I got from him. Its' MSM (a sulphur) and Glucosamine (a kind of sugar), both are known in treating arthritis and as far as I know vegetarian/vegan. The last thing I'm taking is, unfortunately, not at all vegetarian and kind of gross. It's chicken cartilage in a pill. I don't know if it's something you would do or not. All of these things combined has changed my life completely. I'll only need to do the supplements for a year, so I'll skip the yucky one in about 7-8 months time but probably continue taking the msm and glucosamine.
    Hope this helps:)
