Doing volunteer service, walking 90 minutes a day and using wrist weights for 60 min of that time. I meditate 2.5 hours a day and read spiritual literature written by the mystics. I also read literature about health and I belong to a few forums on 811, lfrv, furitarianism and Facebook, so I do spend a large part of my day online.

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?

I'm transitioning into fruitarianism and am looking for some more answers and encouragement. I realize that your focus is lfrv and as I said I am experimenting with fruit only and have heard this is an interesting site. Thanks

  • Hi Susan!

Thanks again for all your help... we actually arrived today! We went shopping today and found some decent fruit, but are really hoping to find more ripe and delicious fruit tomorrow!!

We're going to market we were told about. (Fruteria Hernandez- open from 8 am to 2 pm)... and possibly also Palmar de Aramara. What do you think of them?

Our hotel is fantastic and I'm especially excited to be spending time with my boyfriend's family :) If you'd like to stop by one day, let us know & it'd be great to try and arrange a lunch!

Oh- and as far as the durian- no luck for us either! Probably not the best place to buy anyways... lol. But we'll keep our eye out!

We did however find the most AMAZING coconut waters downtown... a couple blocks away from the flea market. Have you ever bought coconuts in bulk? We'd love to buy like 30 at least! But we'd need to buy a machete... any tips?

Adios amiga :) Espero que podemos encontrar las mejores frutas de Puerto Vallarta :)
  • Hi Susan! Thanks for all the helpful info... we're especially happy to know the papaya is great right now :)

    Here's a link to our hotel: http://www.velasvallarta.com/

My boyfriend would like to know if there's a place nearby that sells durian!

Thanks again for your input... we can't wait to be relaxing in the beautiful sun :)
    Adios amiga!
