I am a student at IHN in Toronto, Canada studying Holistic Nutrition. I have long been interested in the science behind our health and vitality and very inquisitive on how "humans" are really supposed to eat to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest in a strong body! I love connecting with people with the same inquisitions. I am looking to learn more about raw till 4 lifestyle. I just completed my 200hr yoga teacher training. At the moment I am trying to find my practice and build a solid foundation to then pass on to near future students. I love being spontaneous and jumping up to travel! Jamaica is my spot! Would love to teach yoga on the beach/ sup yoga:)

The Frugivore started this site to bring together frugivores across the Globe! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?

Mostly concerned about b12.. I like to live as natural as possible n it seems the only natural source is animal products..so I am back and forth with my confidence. I have been eating raw till 4 now..lots of bananas too:) I will eat an egg ( from small organic farm/naturally fed and raised chickens only) seldom, sardines and chicken 😖 ( u guys r gunna hate lol) maybe 2x /week. I know naturally humans would be hunting wild and very lean meat and the domesticated meat is toxic and inhumane! I also have a 3 year old girl and 3 month old boy.. So I am breastfeeding and will be for a while longer. Thanks guys, love from Toronto💕.. Liz!

  • Its also confusing because didnt humans evolve n their brains got bigger because of meat and cooked food?? Bahh
  • Hey yogiliz welcome to the fruit family! :) I saw and read your concern with vitamin b12. Of course in every nutrition text book of biology text book would say vitamin b12 is only found in animals source foods. But in fact vitamin b12 is a synthesized by bacteria. No plant, fungi, or animal can produce vitamin b12 by its self. It requires another means to do it for them. Once animal eat the grass and the bacteria along with it. That's how they get stored in their liver and continue to synthesize the b12. But unfortunately the soil now that we have is almost depleted of vitamin b12. And all animal in factory farms are supplemented with the vitamin b12. If animals are supplemented then why go through the pain and suffering of another animals body to get the b12. Why not just supplement your diet. Even if it's local farms. The ethical aspect comes in, The suffering is still the same. you can supplement your vitamins. There's no need for unnecessary suffering. Hope that clears your doubts on vitamin b12. -Johnny.
