  • Hello, my friend! I would love to meet you! We have a meetup.com/twincitiesfruitlovers group! We will be having more fruitlucks as the weather gets warmer. Please join us! I also teach yoga in St. Paul at Tula Yoga & Wellness.

  • Hey

    It means private messaging.

    Take care

  • I'm 26. I'm not sure if I would ever give 811 a try if not sports and desire to be as healthy as reasonably attainable. 811 just makes sense to me, but I also find it hard to convince my relatives to try it. I'm trying to persuade my mother...
Since your son is Russian, you can try to come up with some crazy bet where loser would have to eat only fruits and veggies for 2 weeks. After he'll feel it for himself, he might like it... If seriously, I think the best strategy is not to actively convince anyone but just let them see your transformations as you follow this style (and become healthier, happier, etc) and honestly answer any questions people have (and they will). Let people discover this instead of pushing it hard to them.
  • I actually wasn't able to move :( I would have loved to hang out and eat fruit with you though! :) have a great night!
  • Hey Luba,

I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is the worst!

I'm new to this too. You have all of my support.
Hang in there and don't be hard on yourself, honey.
This isn't easy, and we have to just be patient with ourselves.
    Keep your chin up :o)

  • Hey luba

You're never too old to learn :o)

I dont find it particularly difficult being a conventional nutritionist whilst believing in 811/hygienic principles. Theres actually a surprising amount if information that one learns when studying nutrition conventionally that supports these ideas. Its just that people tend not to pay much attention to these things, or tend not to put two and two together. Mainly because they are not conditioned to, and are not interested or invested in making certain changes themselves.

Nonetheless, you do still learn some crap. You just have to keep studying others stuff to stop letting it get to you.

    Take care

  • Luba, yes I am already a qualified nutritionist. I find it unlikely you would be able to do a masters degree straight off, since most programs build on what you already know. In the UK the college I am at is private. They do offer fast-track programs, however they are not that fast...4-6 years is likely. They would more than likely suggest you just do their undergraduate programme. You could do that in 3 years, then do the masters in 2.

    Take care
