  • I take my b12 tablets once a day, they are 100 µg.

I am not really sure how often you are meant to take them or how you can determine how much is being stored in the liver (unless you were to get blood tests).

I would love to know how often we need to take the tablets as well

  • I always hear people recommend safe and verified suppliers of B12, not any old online shop, just passing that on.

  • At the moment I'm taking the Dr. Group Vegan B12 it's pretty great, has the two most absorbable forms of B12 I think methyl and adeno if I'm not mistaken. It seems pretty good I definitely notice but you have to take a lot every day. I think 1000 a week is too little, most of it doesn't get abosrbed. I'm hoping someone will answer my thread put up today about a place to get quality B12 shots! Set and forget is the way to go IMO.

    • Hi Mike!

When you say you "definitely notice" do you mean you notice a difference in how you feel when you take b12 and when you don't?

      Thanks!

  • I have heard him say that with a serum-b12 blood value of lower then 550 in japan you will get injections, while in us and australia it's something like 250 or so (if i'm correct) while in the netherlands it's under 180, though my cousins who had around 100 but didn't have a real shortage according to mma test or something i think they're not getting supplements.

I don't know too much about tablets but isn't 90+% of that ending up in the toilet? i thought when you were on tablets you should basically take them daily, but don't take my word for it..

  • i take B12 tablets once a week its 1000 each
  • What form are you taking (injections, sublingual)? Sublingual would be daily. Injections would depend on dosage.
