fresh food fat sources scarce

Hi,

For overt fats, my best bet is avocados because I can get them raw and I know for sure that they are raw. There are 'raw' nuts and 'cold-pressed' olive oil in the grocery market, but I'm not sure I totally trust them. Questions:

  • Anyone know of a good olive/avocado/other fruit oil brand that has fresh, honest oil, and is available in Maine?
  • Same question for nuts
  • General ideas about best sources of overt fats? I love avocados but I want to branch out

:) much love to the community

  • 30BaD does not support the use of oils, you can see why here: http://www.30bananasaday.com/notes/Ingredients_and_photos_not_suppo...

You can test nuts by adding a piece to hydrogen peroxide and see if it bubbles, if so then it is raw.

  • avocados sometimes washed with hot water.

There raw food shops that sells nuts, but i dont any for the US.

Cold Pressed oils from fat fruits or nuts are not 80/10/10 suggested , not even this pressed for sure by 24-32 degrees.
