Definitely recommend using cronometer.com to log your food, which will help you keep track of calories and macro percentages. Don't worry as much about the targets, as how you feel. I would recommend trying to at least hit the calorie targets recommended here, as they come from lots of people's experience with the lifestyle as well as providing sufficient nutrition. However I would not obsess over numbers too much, once you get used to eating more bulk, hitting 2500 - 3000 cals a day is not a huge deal.

The more calories you eat, the more grams of fat you can have and remain at, or under 10%. That's why logging your food is so handy, it'll take care of the calculations for you.

After a while, you'll just be eating the right foods as second nature, no big deal. But logging will be helpful, especially in the beginning, because you will have data to look at if you want to find out why you felt so great one day and sapped another day.
