The importance of wearing clothing with a message...

I have never really given wearing clothing with a message much thought until becoming Vegan. Since getting some made up, I now realise how powerful it is. I had 3 people comment on my vegan shirt yesterday and a conversation about veganism ensued. Potentially 3 new vegans who can save an estimated 6,000-10,000 land animals across their lifetime. WORTH IT. So get some embroidery or screenprinting done as soon as you can! Put a website in whenever you can too.

    Freelee,

    I think that clothing can be like a uniform if one is willing and brave enough to wear it.  Police wear uniforms and that is one way we can identify who might be able to help us in time of need. 

    The same could be said for those who feel strong enough and or called to preach the message of health and or ethical vegan(ism).

    Why would anyone wear a nike, addidas or some sports players name?

     

    Your a walking bill board.

     

    The current shirt I wear to annoy those that need to be annoyed is.

     

    "Rooting out Pignorance one Human at a time"

     

    With Facts about Pigs on the back.

     

    The looks I get are hilarious.

     

    I am always glad to ruin someones corpse meal.

     

    I also wear another shirt so much I can't wear it out in public anymore (I have standards ;-) because it has worn out.

     

    " Puppies are not products.  Adopt don't pet store shop"

     

    I got lots of compliments on that one.

     

    I have a few more animal related ones.

     

    I was thinking of having this shirt made up will need to come up with the image.

     

    "this soul is not for sale"

     

    or

     

    " I am a vegan because I am allergic to cruelty, abuse and diseases."

     

    I ain't interested in wearing any corporate shirts or some goofy sayings like.

     

    "Like all you need is love" ;-)

      Oh my gosh Big G those are great!  I agree about not wanting to be a billboard, I would love to get some little patches to cover the logos we have on some of our shirts.

    Awesome. I agree. I am wearing a shirt right now that says "this is what a radical feminist looks like" hoping to take the "sting" out of the word "feminist".

     

    I have a few vegan inspired tees, but those tights are BANGING WIKED awesome. Keep it up sexy!
