What bits and pieces are you missing?...

Durianrider and I were just talking about how he got his tonsils removed (by an intelligent surgeon) when he was younger, DR agrees that obviously this is not optimal because we require all of our organs for complete health. I was wondering how many other peeps out there have had bits and pieces chopped out and have you noticed any adverse side effects? I'm still in tact right now :)

  • I've had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, not because they were impacted, but because they were decaying SO bad, pieces of the toothe would chip off, so they had to go. The decaying was my fault, I wasn't brushing nearly as far back in my mouth as I thought.

I got a mole on my head removed in 8th grade (That was purely cosmetic. I never liked that mole.), and another on my backside last year.

I've also had a septoplasty to correct my deviated septum. It definitely helped me breathe better at night when I lay down, but the recovery period was AWFUL!!
    • I had that done at age 18 - the septum surgery! Oh it was horrid sleeping upright in a chair, half dazed. Silly me felt so good one day I ended up washing my car, in winter, in TN. I ended up regretting that decision so short after surgery! I am honestly not sure how much it helped me. Had weird things happen due to surgery :) such as whistling when I slept :)
