  • Hi,

I wanted to let you know we will have a raw fruit festival in Spain next September

    http://festival.811-friendly.net

    Maybe you'd like it.

    Cheers

  • Thanks darling! Looks great. Have sent you an email - ashram has a bed for tomorrow, Fri and Sat. Let me know if you want it and I'll book it for you. It's in the cabin. If you still want to drive up tomorrow (with me!) I'm happy to share my double for the night and you can move into the cabin on Thurs? Or just come up Thurs morning whatever is best for you. xx

  • Sarah, the shamanic approach has definitely helped. Most of this comes down to the way you think about things, appreciating the moment and keeping a positive attitude. Our focus and mindset has a huge energetic effect that relates to how we experience our body.
What benefits have you noticed after 3 months 811rv? Have you noticed any improvements in your energy?
  • Dear Sarah,
thank you for your comment and friend request.
Love the colours and picture on your page.
So glad you enjoyed the book.
Thank you for supporting me ♥
    Have a beautiful day,
    Love and Peaches,

  • Hi Sarah. The author is my husband :)

He teaches shamanic movements and other techniques to enhance awareness in private sessions in Bali and occasionally group workshops. There is information about the different things he teaches on the website and if you are interested in coming to Bali he is available from July onwards.
  • Hmmm that IS hardcore, and I should mention that there are "Vipassana" centers around the world, but that doesn't mean they are the real ones. Unless it says SN Goenka Vipassana, than it could be one of the harcore ones. I knew a girl who went to one in Thailand (!) and she said that it was 30 days long for her first sit, which is not the norm. Your only allowed to do a 10 day sit for your first time. She also mentioned that by the end of it, they were forced into sleep deprivation! At Goenka centers, their goal is to make things as comfortable as possible so that each person can focus on their practice, rather than room issues, food issues, etc. They will really reach out to ensure that things are ok for everyone.
Now, I cannot say what they arrangements will be like in another country, but I'm almost certain that they is a level of standard that they apply to the accommodations for the most part. Here is the official site www.dhamma.org
Let me know if this center was the one you had read about.
  • Hey sister! Yes, I have done a course- I did in Northfork CA, and they had big bowls of oranges, apples and bananas along with other cooked vegan stuff. For lunch they had big bowls of romaine and tons of tomatos, peppers and other raw veggies, along with cooked vegan stuff. Then at 5pm new students could have more fruit, old students just tea.
I'm not sure what they would serve in SE Asia, but I would assume that there would be really great fruit. You can always contact them prior to signing on and tell them you have a specific diet. They are really accomadating and really clear people who are there to serve, so they would be more than happy to help! I would highly recommend the course- it is truly an eye opening experience.
  • At the moment I have a lazy evening watching movies - I'll reply later this week or tomorrow. Enjoy the lovely weather!! XX
  • Hello Sarah, how are you? You got my message? Probably in inbox... Hope you are well, this week the weather will become better here - am so longing for spring!

Best wishes, Love and health, Sita XXX
