  • hi how are you?

I hope you didn't get stuck in that pose!

  • I'm in Kandy but I'll definitely stop by if I head down that way.
Sorry to say, durian season is over :( but you can still get juicy papaya, pineapple, mangoes, and of course bananas. Hope to see you soon!
  • Yes it has been awhile it seems. I've thought of you but am in my own world and haven't reached out.

I'm doing great. Have been in San Diego for a little while and love it out here. A lot of young people who seem to spend much more time enjoying life than you customarily see on the east coast.

Yes I'm heading to Philippines a week from Wednesday. Totally pumped. I'll be coming home just before Christmas to spend it with the fam.

Sri Lanka sounds wonderful. Very happy for you that you're about to realize this long-awaited trip. Crazy and fantastic that jackfruit is so abundant there. It's really one of my favorites now; probably top 3. Is durian in season there now? Supposedly they're available year-round in Phili.
  • Jenny, your yoga photo is really inspiring. I was into kundalini yoga for a long time and have not practice yoga for a while, wanting to avoid dogma; but the physical benefits are outstanding. what kind of yoga to you practice? i just want to open and oxengentate my cells. thanks :)
  • hey, thanks. I was talking to my brother's girlfriend the other day about this stuff....and i mentioned i contacted someone from easton about fruit...and i said she's into yoga. My brother's girlfriend is Iris! small world eh!
  • hello fellow lehigh valley resident!! i'm new to this, need advice on great fruit in the lehigh valley area? any ideas?
  • hey jennifer sorry for the delay. don't know anything about the CNH.. the UNH is a NH/lfrv program and Dr. Doug wrote most of the stuff on nutrition (the 811 diet is one of the texts for the nutrition prerequisite courses). As far as I know the UNH is unique in that respect. I started the course not too long ago but really enjoy it so far. I've already taught most of what I've learned in classes practical stuff. I've heard nothing but good things about the place. luke sartor, kevin rogers, cindy (red cookie monster lol), robby barbarro are all studying thru the UNH, you can ask them about it.

btw I'm down to 1/2 a grape every other day. not perfect yet but making progress in the right direction ;)
  • yes i agree those two workouts are the most fun.. i did plyo this morning.. got a great sweat going and was pretty gassed.. it felt great

yea i been pretty busy with design work

very glad to hear that you and mike are putting focus into your own wellness and happiness.. that's what matters

where are you doing your planting? at your parents' place? i haven't gotten the ball rolling yet, but i have definitely been thinking about a gardening project coming up.. i need to build a giant raised bed, because ours soil here is full of shale.. it's gonna take a bit of elbow grease, but that's the fun and what makes it that much more rewarding, huh?

yea i'm going to go back to asia in may/june.. not exactly sure where yet.. it's either going to be somewhere in thailand like koh phangan, penang in malaysia, or somewhere more exotic like borneo, phillipines or sumatra.. i'm hoping to meet up with freelea, harley, and others from the australia retreat this time.. anything in the works for you?

yea i'd def like to get together.. maybe when the bliss weather rolls around again.. soon :-)

that spanish market sounds awesome.. they really have mamey? wow.. i might need to make a trip just for that.. i love them.. have you gotten any yet? they ripen well?
  • jennifer,

how great was last week? i'm glad you can probably relate to how amazing the sun and fresh air felt because i can't even describe it.. gets you pretty excited about what's to come huh?

i'm fantastic and still around.. been quite busy on a flurry of projects and enjoying it.. also, i'm on the fifth week of p90x and that's been fun.. my flexibility is improving pretty quickly because that's an area i tend to neglect.. my balance isn't improving quite as fast, but i'm anxious to keep working on it.. the yoga aspect was probably a breeze for you, but that's actually the aspect of the program i find to be more strenuous.. not so bad doing it outside in the warm sun on saturday tho ;-)

i have been meaning to reach out.. nice to hear from you.. how's everything?
  • Heya Jennifer,
I love your profile pics. How did you get into yoga and how often do you practice?
    Have a great day,
    XoXo
