  • Hey Noa,

    Yes, FlexEffect is more expensive and is probably the most aggressive program out there. It true that not everyone likes it, but it is equally true that not everyone likes each of the other programs out there, so you just have to find the one that resonates the most with you. You can always try one of the less expensive and/or aggressive programs out there and then upgrade once you have a better sense of what you are looking for and how your face reacts to facial exercise. There are certainly several of us who own several facial exercise programs and are happy with that :)

    One more thing that might be helpful to know:

    * FlexEffect has a facial exercise forum at flexeffect.proboards.com that is staffed by trainers
    * Ageless has a forum at louiseannette.proboards.com, but the forum has basically been abandoned, but you might be able to get some questions answered there.
    * Carol Maggio of Facercise tends to answer questions via email, but it usually takes her a few days to respond.
    * Carolyn Cleaves of CFF is super-responsive and, I'm told, provides outstanding customer support and answers questions
    * I don't know about whether Cynthia Rowland provides support and answers questions

    Just wanted to add that, in case knowing that would help you decide.

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi Noa!

    My favorite program by far is FlexEffect, which is available here: www.flexeffect.com. It is the most comprehensive program, covering all of the voluntary muscles of the face, and it includes techniques for massage, skin improvement, and bone maintenance. About >90+% of what I do and use is from this program, and I've gotten the best results from this program.

    The only caveat is that this program costs quite a bit. An alternative is to purchase the sample routine DVD from the 2nd edition of the program, which gives you 14 exercises, which covers at least a couple muscles in each part of the face.

    Other good programs that I've tried are Facercise (www.facercise.com) and Ageless If You Dare (www.agelessifwedare.com; but only the electronic versions of the program are currently available). I found the Facercise program to be pretty good overall, but its big weakness was in adding fullness to the cheek area. Facercise's exercises are more toning exercises and less about adding fullness to the face. My favorite Facercise exercise is the Nose Shortener, which is shown at the end of this you tube clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxm3ty42u0U. Ageless If You Dare is great for the cheeks and eyes, but ignores several of the other areas of the face. It's based on resistance exercises, so has the potential to add more fullness to the face, and is a great, fast and easy and cheap program.

    Other programs out there that I know others like but that I have not tried are

    * Carolyn's Facial Fitness (http://www.carolynsfacialfitness.com/)
    * Cynthia Rowland's Facial Magic (http://www.cynthiarowland.com/)
    * Shape Your Face (http://www.shapeyourface.com/; has free exercises)

    Let me know if particular if you have any problem areas or particular desires (e.g., short program, comprehensive program, inexpensive program, etc.).

    I hope this helps :)

  • Hi Noa!

    Sure, please ask away about facial exercises. What would you like to know?

    Cheers,

    Courtney :)
