  • Loads of different places. Figs I score from the trees around my area. Jackfruit from asian groceries, everything else, farmers markets, organic shops, etc.

  • Hi Cindy,
Some of the best times of my life have been spent in the desert.I have real respect for the fruits that are produced in such inhospitable climate.Seems as tho nature knew we would extra sustenance of the spirit if we find ourselves in that climate. What is not to like about mangoes, citrus, figs, grapes, olives(ripened and sun dried on the tree). There is an aura of timelesness in the dry country, room for the spirit to flow out.A place where less is more,as opposed to the tropical jungle which overwhelms the senses..This town had mango trees everywhere once, mostly gone now. There has even been talk of removing the coconuts -not a native according some hard core folks. One has not lived until one has drank juice straight from a green coconut..
  • Hello Cindy,
nice to see your comment and invite.I don't get to spend much time on the computer,so communication could be patchy.Mixico is close to top of the list of countries I want to see in this life,so many important fruits originate there-Black sapote (black persimmon)Mayan(green) sapote, avocado, not to forget all those corn varieties.Sure u know of more and the traditional textiles and clothing styles.Aways had a thing about ponchos..
The property is a collection of ideas manifesting in the physical-the real test of any idea.It has shaped me as much I have shaped it.Given me purpose and is helping me find people who I really can think of as friends..So many of the hopes, ideals ,ambitions and worries that are posted here are the very same ones that I have encountered,I'm looking forward to being able to offer some experience and insight where I can
