  • Hey girl! I'm from Toronto, we should hang sometime! And eat some fruit!

  • whoa yummm that sounds so good

    !

thanks girl ill try that salad dressing for sure.

Pears to have around for dressing you mean? or just to eat or what?

your advice is helpful as hell:)

  • Wait so tell me how to make a good salad without seeds and avocados!! Im looking for ways to eat without overt fats.

Raw Apple sauce has been a big saver.

and so has just almond milk and banana smoothies.

as for seeds and avocados, I'm eating them still as of now :)

  • Haha, sorry i didnt respond for so long.

So what's your situation with avocados and seeds?

That's been my one thing lately.

  • Thanks for the add!  I got inspired to try sweet salads from the YouTube channel FruitZen.  The guy is Evan Rock if you can't find the channel.  I would say just start experimenting!  Mango is a great base.  Oranges are too in the winter.  Here are some of my favorites:

    Mango Cilantro

    Mango Strawberry

Banana Raspberry (bananas sound weird in a salad but they are delicious!)

    Mango Red Bell Pepper

Orange juice and a little lemon or lime (really good in the winter wil pomegranate seeds on top) - you can add avocado to make it thicker and cilantro too

Tomato Sauce - this one I had to experiment with and I used different tid bits from other people's marinara recipes.  Basically, I use cherry tomatoes, basil, cilantro, red swiss chard stems (celery as substitute), sun-dried tomatoes and 1-2 dates soaked, and red bell pepper sometimes.  If I don't have dates, I'll use a little orange juice like Megan-Elizabeth.  Try tweaking these and seeing what works for you.

For instance, I tried a little ginger in my dressings, and I didn't like it so much, but some people love ginger.  Just have fun and keep it sweet and simple. :) I find the more complex my recipes are, the less I like them.  And don't feel like if a dressing is absolutely horrid that you have to eat it.  Always have a back up of a few mangos on hand to blend up quickly if a dressing doesn't work out. :) Have fun and good luck!
