Austropithicus Africanses diet

Australopithicus Africanses was the first primate to climb down from the trees, some 25 million years ago.  His diet was simple:  leaves and fruit.  If s/he found a fruit tree, s/he might spend the day there, or at least eat until the fruit was gone.
